Paseo del Rey Magnet Elementary School, located in Playa del Rey, is open to all students living within Los Angeles Unified School District boundaries. Application for grades 1 through 5 is made by completing the one page form in the "Choices" brochure (available at any LAUSD school). Admission to grades 1 through 5 is determined by random selection from applications submitted, and an integrated student body is maintained. The kindergarten is open to neighborhood residents, and students applying through a child care permit or the open enrollment program (based on space availability). (read more)
